Special Projects

 

Greer Baptist Association Invites You To Participate In  MissionsQuest 2008

MissionsQuest was developed by the Greer Baptist Association to assist with house repairs for low income families/individuals and to help strengthen church and mission ministries through Quest clubs (VBS) and other service projects. 

The Greer Baptist Association is located in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties in upstate South Carolina.  Dr. Cleatus Blackmon, Jr. is the Director of Missions  and David Moore is the Missions Mobilization Consultant.

This summer missions volunteers are needed for 5 house repair projects and 2 Quest Clubs.  Also teams of any size are needed to come alongside and assist.  Those participating must have completed grade 6 and we can use any age level even Sr. Adults.  We have arranged with one of our larger churches in the association for housing and meals. They also have shower space etc. available.
The cost for this project is $115.00 per person arriving on Sunday Evening and departing on Friday Morning. Praise and worship will held each night.

Our 2008 project will be June 25-30, 2008 focusing on Home Repair and VBS.  Teams will be needed to do roofing, painting, vinyl siding, etc and Quest Clubs (VBS) Call for information about cost. Cost includes all meals, lodging for the week, Insurance, MissionsQuest t-shirt and other items.
