Appalachian Regional Ministry

Youth On Mission seeks to mobilize youth and adults in home mission involvement in a variety of settings, resulting in life-style evangelism, and spiritual growth.

YOM is a member of our Strategic Alliance which has the purpose of mobilizing students in home missions. The North American Mission Board (NAMB) recognizes YOM as an option for SBC groups and distributes their information. I recommend YOM to you. The words Smoky Mountain Resort Ministries refer to the program of resort ministries sponsored by the Sevier County Association of Baptists, Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to witness and to minister to the resort communities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. This is an ongoing and year-round ministry.
