Christmas in Appalachia

 

    Soon across Appalachia, ministry centers and churches will be busy at work preparing to assist children and families with Christmas. Many of the ministry centers will need volunteers workers to come alongside and assist them with the Christmas activities.  Food items, coats, blankets, and Christmas gifts for the children and youth will also be needed.  You can get involved and make a difference by helping with Christmas 2007.

Gifts needed are:

Dolls               

Craft kits               

Teen-jewelry

Footballs         

Soccer balls           

Basketballs  

CD's, DVDs (nonviolent)                 

Games (table and computer)

Toys               

Baby toys               

Books  (children and youth)

New Bibles in a modern translation  

Bicycles, other riding toys

Hygiene items   

Fun gifts (puzzles, yoyos, small cars, jump ropes)

Treats              

Fruit
